Which is the best PHP framework for large scale applications

0

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering whether the PHP frameworks like Laravel, Codeigniter, Symfony, CakePHP etc. are able to handle very large scale and complex web applications.

For example: Let's consider websites like Facebook, Google and Twitter. They process tons of data everyday without compromising the speed of their website. They have thousands of employees that work together on the code base.

So, my question is that whether the commonly used PHP frameworks are able to handle that sort of high traffic websites without any issues? Do they provide a strong architecture for code base that can be easily manageable by thousands of developers?

According to your experience, which is the best PHP framework for large scale applications?
